Abs snatches Master Plumbers 1st Year Apprentice Award
Designed to recognise outstanding effort - the 21st Annual Clarrie Wymer Awards for Excellence 1st year apprentice award has been presented to Park Plumbings’ Abdul Kassab. Check out photos below.
Park Plumbings Foreman Anthony Ruggiero said “Abs is great, his attitude to our clients and his studies is fantastic. He really deserves this award, he has worked really hard at both his studies and on the job. His workmanship and customer care are commendable”…
Abdul said it was “a great surprise. I’m really enjoying the work so it’s a bonus to get the award as well. Meeting the Governor was pretty neat – she’s very charming”
Not only was it a privilege to receive the award, the event itself was a treat. Abdul’s award was presented by NSW Governor Marie Bashir who said one of her proudest achievements as Governor was being made a life member of the Master Plumbers' Association… "They gave me a silver-plated spanner and a card which means I can go and get wholesale plumbing equipment!".
Professor Governor Bashir is a former area director of mental health services in central Sydney who was appointed an Officer of the Order of Australia in 1988 for her services to child and adolescent health.
